Northwest Frontier Province

Swat

In Swat Malakand division of, Pakistan there are mines of Emerald, epidote and various types of quartz are also found in this area.

DIR

In DIR, Malakand Division there is mines of Corundum and quartz.

Mansehra

Mansehra, Hazara division there are mines of Corundum and smoky qaurtz.

Kohistan

Kohistan, Hazara division is well known for its Peridot gemstone mine.

Peshawar District

Peshawar district of Frontier provinces is known for it Quartz with astrphyllite, Quartz with reikbeckite fibre inclusions, xenotime, and bastnaesite

Federally Administered Tribal Areas

Mohmand Agency

There are gemstone mines of Emerald, Clinozoisite, Sphene and Epidote in Mohamand Agency, Federal Administrated Tribal Areas of Pakistan.

Bajaur Agency

There are Emerald, Garnet and Orange Colour Scapolite gemstone mines located in Bajaur Agency, Federal Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan.

Khyber Agency

There are gemstones mines of Astrophyllite, Reibeckite fibers inclusions, Xenotime and Bastnaesite located in Khyber Agency, Federal Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan.

North and South Waziristan Agencies

Gemstones mines of Faden Quartz, Diamond Quartz, Phantom Quartz, Chlorite Quartz and Window Quartz are located in North and South Waziristan Agencies of Pakistan.

Northern Areas

Chilas

In Chilas Diamer District of North Area Pakistan there are mines of Alluvial Diopside, Zircon, Rutile Quartz, Aquamarine and Tourmaline Gems.

Gilgit District

In Gilgit district of Pakistan gems and crystals mines of Aquamarine, Topaz (Golden and White), Emerald, Ruby, Pollucite, Rutile Quartz, Morganite, Apatite, Spinel and Pargasite are located in Gilgi, Hunza and Shigar.

Baltistan District

Aquamarine, topaz, tourmaline, apatite, sphene, morganite and quartz gems mines are located at Shengus, Stak Nala, and Tormiq Nala areas of Baltistan District. Apatite, Zoisite, Rutile quartz, Epidote and Morganite crystal mines are located at Shigar Proper near Skardu, Baltistan District of Pakistan.

Shigar Area

Shigar area is rich in gemstone mines such as Aquamarine, Emarld, Tourmaline, Apatite, Morganite, Topaz and various types of quartz. In Shigar Area Aquamarine, Emerald Colour Tourmaline, Apatite, Morganite, Topaz and Quartz gems mine are located at Childee, Kashmal and Yuno.

There also gemstones mines of Topaz golden colour, Aquamarine gemstone, Tourmaline , Morganite, Apatite, Quartz and other rare minerals. These mines are spread on the areas of Hyderabad, Testun, Dassu, Net Tahirabad, and Goyungo atShigar area, Baltistan district of Pakistan. There is also a new mine of Emerald found in these locations.

Other mines of Tourmaline Gemstone, Aquamarine gemstone, Garnets, Diopside, Ruby, Paragasite, Emeral, Topaz, Amethyst, Amethyst, Scheelite and Quartz are located at Appu Aligund, Fuljo, Braldu, Bashu, and Karma at the same district of Baltistan.

In the area of Khappalu and Siachine area at Gaanshai area Baltistan there are mines of Aquamarine Gemstones, Amethyst Gemstones and Fine Golden Rutile Quatz.

Baluchistan Province

In Kharan district of Baluchistan Province of Pakistan there are mines of Brookite, Anatase and Quartz gemstones.

Chaman

In Chaman, Quetta mines of Diamond Quartz, Window Quartz, Quatz on Prehnite Base and Faden Quartz which include Chlorite.
